Keep choosing the person your becoming.
Even when it doesn’t make sense.
Even when it pisses people off.
Choose this person again and again and again and again.
- Kristin Lohr
This quote is so meaningful to me right now. I’m in a massive space of transformation and trying to understand what that all means for me. If you knew me 6 months ago you wouldn’t believe the person I am now. I’m learning that that’s okay too. You can completely change your life at any moment to more honour yourself. You don’t have to be the person you were a day, a week, a month, or even a year ago - you have the right to grow - no apologies. ————————————————————————
It’s not as easy as people make it out to be - it’s an acceptance to grow - whatever that means - and be okay with the fact it’s not going to be all glitter and butterflies (although for me there has been SOME glitter and a surprising amount of butterflies!) ————————————————————————-
Sometimes people close with you will have an adverse reaction to your growing- it actually has nothing to do with you but we as people like to put other people in categories to help us make sense of the world.. and when someone steps out of that category it upsets our perceived balance and knowledge of the world around us and makes us question something within ourselves. No matter where your at - if your growing or your watching someone close to you growing - try and appreciate the process and understand. ———————————————————————
Never apologise for your growth! 🌟
